Data Protection

Lajuwin Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Lajuwin collects, uses, protects, retains, and discloses personal information when Malaysian players access our online casino and sports betting services.

Effective date: 1 January 2026

Policy Overview

Privacy Built Into the Lajuwin Experience

Lajuwin recognises that casino accounts involve sensitive identity, financial, and behavioural information. This Privacy Policy applies whenever a player visits Lajuwin, registers an account, completes KYC verification, deposits MYR, requests a withdrawal, contacts support, joins a promotion, or places a wager. It should be read together with the Lajuwin Terms & Conditions. By using Lajuwin, you acknowledge the data practices described below. Where consent is the appropriate basis for a particular activity, Lajuwin will request that consent separately and allow it to be withdrawn where applicable.

Section 1

Introduction and Scope

Lajuwin is responsible for determining how personal information submitted through the Platform is processed for account administration, gaming operations, payment handling, security, regulatory compliance, and customer support. This policy applies to information relating to identifiable players and visitors. It does not apply to anonymous statistical information that can no longer be linked to an individual.

Lajuwin serves Malaysian players through an internationally operated platform. Privacy and gambling rules may differ between jurisdictions. Lajuwin applies contractual and technical protections intended to support recognised privacy principles, including transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, security, and responsible retention. References to Malaysian privacy expectations include principles commonly associated with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 where relevant to commercial data handling.

Section 2

Information Lajuwin Collects

Lajuwin may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Account details: full name, username, date of birth, residential address, email address, mobile number, preferred language, password credentials in encrypted form, and account settings.
  • Identity records: MyKad or passport details, photographs, proof of address, age-verification records, and information needed to complete KYC checks.
  • Payment information: deposit and withdrawal amounts, transaction references, masked account details, payment method, wallet information, and records involving Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX, Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank, or USDT TRC20.
  • Gaming activity: wagers, game history, live casino sessions, sports selections, bonus use, loyalty points, wins, losses, withdrawal requests, and responsible gambling limits.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, approximate location, language, session duration, security logs, and cookie identifiers.
  • Communications: support enquiries, complaint records, account notes, security reports, and correspondence sent to or received from Lajuwin.

Lajuwin asks players to provide accurate and current information. Providing incomplete or misleading details may prevent Lajuwin from verifying an account, processing an MYR withdrawal, investigating suspicious activity, or meeting applicable licensing obligations.

Section 3

How Information Is Collected

Lajuwin collects information directly when you create an account, verify your identity, set a deposit limit, use a promotion, place casino or sports wagers, request assistance, or update account details. Information is also collected automatically when you browse the Platform, including through essential cookies, authentication logs, fraud-monitoring systems, and device security controls.

Certain information may be received from payment providers, identity-verification services, game suppliers, fraud-prevention partners, and public or legally authorised sources. For example, Lajuwin may receive a confirmation that a DuitNow transfer was successful or that identity documents passed a verification check. Lajuwin does not require providers to return more information than is reasonably necessary for the relevant service.

Section 4

Purposes and Grounds for Data Processing

Lajuwin processes personal information for defined operational and legal purposes, including to:

  • create, authenticate, maintain, and secure player accounts;
  • confirm that every casino player is aged 21 or above;
  • accept deposits, settle wagers, calculate bonuses, and process withdrawals;
  • provide live dealer games, slots, EPL, UFC, live football, and Liga Super Malaysia betting markets;
  • detect duplicate accounts, collusion, bonus abuse, fraud, money laundering, and unauthorised access;
  • meet KYC, responsible gambling, record-keeping, licensing, and dispute-resolution requirements;
  • respond to enquiries and improve Lajuwin service reliability;
  • send account, payment, security, and policy notifications;
  • deliver promotional communications where permitted and consistent with your preferences.

Depending on the context, processing may be necessary to perform the agreement between you and Lajuwin, comply with legal or licensing obligations, protect legitimate interests in secure gaming operations, establish or defend legal claims, or act on your consent.

Section 5

Payment Information and KYC Verification

Lajuwin uses payment and identity information to confirm account ownership, prevent third-party transactions, protect player funds, and process MYR deposits and withdrawals. Lajuwin may compare the name on a player account with the registered name attached to a bank account or e-wallet. A mismatch may lead to a temporary payment hold while ownership is verified.

Full card or banking credentials may be processed directly by an authorised payment provider rather than stored by Lajuwin. Where Lajuwin receives payment details, access is restricted according to operational need. Cryptocurrency wallet addresses and blockchain transaction records may remain publicly visible on the relevant blockchain even after Lajuwin no longer needs them internally.

KYC notice: Lajuwin may retain identity and transaction evidence after an account closes where required for fraud prevention, dispute management, anti-money laundering controls, or international licensing obligations. A deletion request cannot override a valid legal retention duty.
Section 6

Disclosure of Personal Information

Lajuwin does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Platform. Recipients may include identity-verification services, payment processors, banks, e-wallet providers, game and sportsbook technology suppliers, cloud hosting services, cybersecurity specialists, professional advisers, auditors, and customer support providers.

Lajuwin requires service providers to use player information only for authorised purposes, apply appropriate confidentiality measures, and protect information against unauthorised access. The amount disclosed is limited to what the provider needs to perform its contracted function.

Lajuwin may also disclose information when required by a valid legal process, licensing request, court order, or official investigation; to protect the rights and safety of players; to investigate fraud or prohibited conduct; or as part of a corporate restructuring where equivalent privacy safeguards continue to apply.

Section 7

International Data Transfers

Because Lajuwin operates under international licensing and uses service infrastructure in more than one jurisdiction, player information may be processed outside Malaysia. Privacy standards in another jurisdiction may not be identical to Malaysian standards.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, Lajuwin uses reasonable contractual, organisational, and technical safeguards. These may include confidentiality commitments, access restrictions, security assessments, data-processing agreements, encryption, and requirements that providers notify Lajuwin of security incidents without undue delay.

Section 8

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Lajuwin uses cookies and similar storage technologies to keep players signed in, remember preferences, maintain betting sessions, support payment continuity, detect suspicious logins, and understand how the Platform performs. Essential cookies are necessary for functions such as secure authentication, account protection, and maintaining items in a betting slip.

Performance information may show which pages are used most frequently, whether an interface error occurred, or how quickly content loads for players in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Petaling Jaya, or Shah Alam. Where non-essential cookies require consent, Lajuwin will provide an appropriate preference mechanism. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account login, game access, or payment functions from working correctly.

Section 9

Security Measures

Lajuwin uses layered safeguards designed to reduce the risk of loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, and unlawful access. Measures include encrypted connections, credential hashing, role-based access controls, activity logging, system monitoring, network protection, restricted administrative access, secure development practices, and periodic reviews of service providers.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Players also have an important role in protecting their accounts. Use a unique password, do not disclose login credentials, sign out on shared devices, and notify Lajuwin promptly if an unfamiliar login or payment appears. Lajuwin will investigate credible security concerns and take appropriate containment measures.

Section 10

Data Retention

Lajuwin retains personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to legal, licensing, accounting, anti-fraud, and dispute-management requirements. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and the status of the account.

Routine support logs may be retained for a shorter period than KYC and financial transaction records. Responsible gambling exclusions may be retained for an appropriate period so that Lajuwin can continue to enforce a player's request. When retention is no longer justified, Lajuwin deletes, anonymises, or securely isolates the relevant information in accordance with operational procedures.

Section 11

Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, verification, and valid exemptions, you may ask Lajuwin to provide access to personal information held about you, correct inaccurate details, explain relevant processing, restrict certain uses, or delete information that is no longer required. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing and object to direct marketing.

To protect account security, Lajuwin must verify the identity of anyone making a privacy request. Lajuwin may ask for sufficient account or identity details before releasing information. Requests may be refused or limited where disclosure would affect another person's rights, reveal confidential fraud-prevention methods, interfere with an investigation, or conflict with a legal retention obligation.

Privacy requests can be submitted to the support email shown below. The email address is displayed as plain text for your security. Lajuwin aims to acknowledge requests promptly and provide a substantive response within a reasonable period.

Section 12

Marketing Preferences

Lajuwin may send information about bonuses, loyalty rewards, live casino events, slots, or sports betting markets where the communication is permitted and consistent with your selected preferences. Transactional notices about withdrawals, account security, policy changes, KYC, or responsible gambling are not promotional and may still be sent when necessary.

Players may change marketing preferences through available account settings or ask Lajuwin support to stop promotional communications. An opt-out may take a short period to take effect across active systems. Lajuwin may retain a suppression record so that the marketing preference continues to be respected.

Section 13

Age Restrictions and Responsible Gambling

Lajuwin is intended only for players aged 21 and above. Lajuwin does not knowingly permit minors to register or gamble. Identity and age information may be processed to enforce this restriction. If Lajuwin identifies an underage account, access will be suspended and the matter handled in accordance with applicable legal, licensing, and payment requirements.

Information about deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion, and gambling behaviour may be processed to deliver player-protection tools and identify potential indicators of harm. These records are treated as sensitive operational information and are available only to personnel or service providers who require access for responsible gambling purposes. More information is available on the Responsible Gambling page.

Section 14

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Lajuwin may update this Privacy Policy when services, technology, legal requirements, licensing obligations, or data practices change. The effective date displayed at the top of the page identifies the latest version. Where a change materially affects how existing personal information is used, Lajuwin will provide an appropriate notice through the Platform or an available account communication channel.

Continued use of Lajuwin after an update does not replace consent where separate consent is legally required. Players should review this page periodically and contact support if they do not understand a material change.
